We had an amazing trip!! We are definitely missing it.

We were surprised by how much we liked Rapallo, we had a lot of plans for Florence but basically came \”unprepared\” for Rapallo and just took it day by day. We did hiking along the coast, swam in the cold Mediterranean (I bought a wetsuit in town), sat by the pool, and took lots of leisurely walks through the town looking at local shops and eateries.

We had perfect weather for the trip – sunny every single day except the last. The last day it rained, so we went to the Aquarium in Genoa.

Our favorite outing while in the Florence area was probably the wine tasting day trip – the lunch we had overlooking the hills was truly amazing, as was the wine. We brought back a bottle of wine and some aged balsamic. Seeing Tuscany was a big highlight, again unexpected because we didn\’t know how cool it would just to drive through the rolling hills and see olive trees and small medieval towns.

I really enjoyed climbing the Duomo in Florence, for Charlie it was a bit scary with the tight tunnels and the height!

I also really enjoyed shopping in Florence, I picked up a nice cashmere zip sweater similar to what I saw a lot of Italians wearing. We made sure to bring back lots of goodies for our daughter and family/friends.

We hope to go again when our daughter is older and to bring her next time, there are so many places we can imagine enjoying there. Thank you so much for your help putting this trip together! We will look back fondly on these memories for a lifetime!

We are finally rested and are having fun telling our friends and family about our adventures. Everything went smoothly with all our transportation and tours. The hotels were all fabulous! I miss having breakfast ready for me each morning and a lemoncello spritz each afternoon.

Italy was beautiful and I learned so much in each city we went to.There were so many great things that it’s impossible to list them all!

Thanks so much for helping us to plan a trip of a lifetime! Your expertise was invaluable!

Thank you so much for all of your help in putting this together! Our flights went smoothly, the accommodations were all great, the transfers were wonderful, and we just saw & did so much more than I expected but also had time to just breathe & relax!
The Isle of Skye tour was fantastic. The tour guide was great and lived on the Isle so she knew some great spots – both popular and hidden gems. And the Isle of Skye was just more breath taking and beautiful than I had imagined! So glad we did that tour so we could see so much of it!

We had a great trip and all of the tours were great. You set up an outstanding trip as usual!!! I highly suggest Bruges to anyone traveling to Europe. The people are friendly, the food is great, and the history is amazing. Both hotels were great, but the one in Bruges was outstanding and in the heart of the city.
